| We aim to |
|
 |
| 1. |
Good manners should be shown at all times. Everyone should always demonstrate consideration for other people, their safety and their property. |
| 2. |
Respect must always be shown towards the school’s and other people’s property. |
| 3. |
Respect for the school environment makes everyone’s working conditions more pleasant. Dropping litter is anti-social and culprits should be reported to a member of staff. All litter should be disposed of in the appropriate bins. |
| 4. |
Respect must always be shown to each individual. Any kind of abuse or bullying should be reported to a teacher straightaway. Bullying – physical or verbal – and violent conduct will always be dealt with severely. |
| 5. |
Punctuality to school, lessons and other commitments is essential. Pupils should arrive by 9:55am at the latest for registration. Arrival after this time must be recorded in the late book in the office. |
| 6. |
Pupils should take pride in their appearance and wear appropriate clothing. |
| 7. |
It is important that any absence is supported by a note from home, so that it is not counted as a truancy. Written requests for a four week absence from school should be made in advance to the head teacher in writing. |
| 8. |
Pupils should take a pride in all work they do, and always meet deadlines. |
|
|

| Good manners should be shown at all times. Everyone should always demonstrate consideration for other people, their safety and property. Examples of conduct which will make the school a more pleasant place for all to use, are: |
|
| 1. |
Everyone should walk on the left of corridors and stairs. |
| 2. |
Those waiting to enter a room should wait in single file. |
| 3. |
Bags should be carried at one’s side not over the shoulder. |
| 4. |
All litter should be placed in the litter bins. |
| 5. |
Doors should be held open, not allowed to close in other peoples’ faces. |
| 6. |
Pupils should stand and be quiet when a member of staff or a visitor enters the room. |
| 7. |
Pupils should observe appropriate health and safety regulations in and around the school. |
|

| Health and Welfare |

The school does not have a school doctor. Any concerns on health matters should be dealt with by the parents. A child requiring medicines is usually not well enough to be at school. Medicines are NOT administered in school. Your child should be kept at home until he/she is well.
The school welfare staff will administer first aid for minor accidents e.g. minor cuts and bruises. They will look after children who become ill at school until parents are contacted.
In case of illness or accident involving your child, we need to be able to contact you during school day. We must have your home address and telephone number where you may be contacted. It is also useful to have another contact (friend or relative) who will look after your child until you return later. Please make sure that our records of these telephone numbers are kept up to date by notifying us of any change.
Please make sure that we know about any medical conditions that occur which may affect your child’s well-being in school. |

The school heavily depends on the support of parent volunteers to ensure the safety of children during school.
Our School Security team is entirely made up of parent volunteers. Their dedication and organisation each Sunday ensure that you and your children are safe once you enter the school. You will see them on duty every Sunday, directing traffic in and out of the school, making rounds during school hours to ensure the good conduct and safety of children, and finally to ensure that no one leaves the school without a written authorisation. |
