| Tickets will be on sale from Sunday 17 May 2009 for our annual cultural Programme and each Sunday thereafter. |

| Sunday, 28 June – Canons Gujarati School Annual General Meeting (AGM) |

| Location: School Gym Time: 10.30 am – 11.45 am |

| The AGM is an opportunity for parents to participate in elections for committee and security team membership. It is equally a forum during which a review of the previous year is presented. An open question and answer session will also be held in reference to the vision of the school and the outlook. We urge all parents to attend this meeting for the benefit of your children and the ongoing growth and success of the school. Full details are provided overleaf. We kindly request that the slip at the end of this letter by all parents and return to the office or committee member as soon a possible. |

| It is hoped that every parent will make an effort to attend and take an active part at the AGM to air his or her views with regard to the running of the school. Please complete the attendance and nomination slip at the end of this letter and return to the offices as soon as possible. Please obtain the consent of the nominee that he/she is willing to stand for election. |

| Our annual cultural programme was a huge success last year. This year we aim to make it even better. Our students have been practising their cultural routine for a while now and we look forward to seeing you on 5 July. |

| Once again, we look forward to welcoming back our past GCSE students, whose successes in exams taken during the 2008/09 academic year will be acknowledged. |
| |
| Dinner will be served in the canteen from 4.00 pm, immediately after the show. |
| |
| Tickets will go on sale very soon – please listen out for announcements during assembly and refer to the school website for further information. |
